Hey Family,
I reconnected with a friend on a level deeper than we had ever connected on before. We had always been close, but after this talk we are way closer. We jumped a level (+1). Tonight I ate dinner and watched half of the episode of Dexter which came out last Sunday, worked out until 8, tanned, then talked with Brandon until just a few minutes ago. Its 10:45 pm here in Minnesota, I know a lot of you readers have never heard of it before but I assure you, we exist.
I’m currently sitting in my basement, at the kitchen table, with my external monitor plugged in and my backup laptop up. My main laptop broke months ago (sorry mom).
I went to this friend tonight. I knew at the end of my work day I needed to speak with him. A lot of things have been happening in my life as of late, a lot of behind the scenes. Those of you who know the behind the scenes, this is something on top of that one, which only a very select few know.
A man goes through things in life where he wants to be certain of other things which he has never experienced before. The journey I see in my future is the same journey Brandon went on.
Tonight I was able to communicate to Brandon completely where I was at, and seek his guidance. He was that friend for me I needed him to be. He did everything he could to help me, he was so selfless. That’s what a true friend is to me. Someone who would do something for you simply because they can. I can’t thank him enough.
When was the last time you told a true friend of yours why you appreciate them?
